A Different Life

Right here in the heart of LA, my homeschooling adventure at Conrad Academy kicks off with a morning routine that's as energizing as it is enlightening. Merging the vibrant energy of Los Angeles with a solid workout sets the perfect tempo for a day full of learning and discovery.

This morning, I plunged into the extraordinary life of Frederick Douglass. It’s fascinating to see how his temperament played out in history. His commitment to nonviolence was not just morally strong but strategically brilliant, adding depth to my understanding of leadership and its lasting impact.

The highlight of my day at Conrad Academy was discovering that Douglass will be featured in the Kersey Magazine (keirseymagazine.com). Being tasked with researching and contributing to this piece felt like a badge of honor. It transformed my day from routine to a deep dive into the realms of leadership, intelligence, and the power of education.  I learned that Douglass is a Rational- Fieldmarshal (keirsey.life/fieldmarshal) in the Keirsey temperament framework.

Navigating through my lessons at Conrad Academy, I found Douglass’s wisdom resonating with me. It underscored how the flexibility of homeschooling intertwines with real-world learning.
